Availability-report methodology

What is counted, how it is checked and what the numbers cannot prove.

Unit and denominator

One row represents one independent clinic location or named practice pathway whose source advertised accepting or limited family-practice availability on the stated checking date.

The denominator is only the number of listings found advertising accepting or limited availability. It excludes clinics that were not accepting and clinics whose status was unknown. It does not equal the number of all clinics, physicians or available patient spaces.

This baseline counts only listings found advertising availability. It does not yet include clinics that are not accepting, so it cannot be read as a percentage of all clinics.

Status definitions

Accepting
The source currently invites new family-practice registration.
Limited
The source describes limited spaces, conditions or a limited number of patients.

What is excluded

Aafiyat Medical Centre physicians are displayed in a disclosed partner box and are not included in the neutral dataset or denominator.

Clinics not advertising availability are not included in this baseline. Because that excluded group has not been counted, no percentage is calculated.

Limits

  • This is not a complete census.
  • Availability can change after the checking date.
  • A form submission does not guarantee enrolment.
  • Clinic marketing language is reported, not endorsed.
  • Patients must confirm directly before visiting.
